LeonaSoftware participated in the B2B Zone of Taipei Game Show 2026, held on January 29 and 30 at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 1.
This year, we exhibited in a joint booth with TMS Entertainment. While TMS presented its intellectual properties, LeonaSoftware showcased a playable demo of its new localization meta-RPG, Crazy Localization.
Crazy Localization is an adventure RPG built around the work of game localization itself. As players progress through localization assignments, they encounter differences between source texts and translations, cultural expressions, quality assurance challenges, and other situations involved in bringing games to international audiences.
The original concept was developed over approximately two years. After Leona Takahashi joined the development effort in January 2026, a playable exhibition demo was completed in about one month. At the event, game industry professionals from Taiwan and other countries experienced the demo and learned about its distinctive localization-focused game system.
