As part of the Asia Marketing Research Group's session titled "Competitiveness Formation and Overseas Expansion of Cultural Content in East Asia," Takahashi delivered a presentation titled "Effectuation in the Founding and New Business Launches of Chinese Game Companies."
The presentation analyzed five Chinese game companies using the "Effectuation" framework, focusing on decision-making processes during their founding and early stages of international expansion. By conducting a comparative analysis of overseas strategies between Japanese and Chinese firms, the session provided deep insights into the future of the gaming industry in both nations. We will continue to leverage these academic insights to enhance our strategic marketing support.
