LeonaSoftware is proud to announce its participation in "BitSummit Drift," Japan's premier indie game festival held from July 18 to 20, 2025, at Miyako Messe, Kyoto.
Our ongoing project, the companion-style nurturing simulation hardware "Thumbylina," was chosen for the "Official Selection" following a rigorous screening process. This project was personally developed by our representative, Leona Takahashi.
While Takahashi has spent years in "evaluative and supportive" roles—including serving as a judge for the Xiamen International Animation & Manga Festival and a mentor for iGi—this exhibition marks a shift toward achieving recognition as a creator. Being acknowledged at a top-tier game event represents a significant milestone for our team.
Through this project, we aim to pioneer the "Indie Game Hardware" field, delivering electronic toys born from individual passion directly to players. Following the overwhelming response at the venue, we have begun concrete discussions regarding mass production. Our vision for commercial expansion, including cost optimization and UI refinement, is well-defined.
We remain committed to further development and promotion, striving to prove ourselves as creators worthy of the industry standards we have long upheld.
